About

Overview.

Casa Student Fund (CSF) is Finland’s first fully student-led investment fund, founded in 2026 and based in Helsinki. The Fund operates as a non-profit, student-run initiative with the purpose of providing a structured and professional platform for finance students to gain real-world investment experience.

Casa Student Fund serves as both an educational environment and a practical training ground for high-performing students with a strong interest in financial markets. By combining academic theory with hands-on portfolio management, research and reporting, CSF prepares students for careers in finance, asset management, consulting and related fields.

The Fund is built around clear governance, formal investment processes and defined ethical standards. Activities are conducted under a documented investment policy, supported by ESG integration, risk management frameworks and external oversight through an Advisory Board of industry professionals.

What we do.

Casa Student Fund offers students the opportunity to work hands-on with equity research, portfolio construction and long-term investing while operating within a professional investment framework.

Our work is organised through dedicated research and functional teams, where members analyse companies, industries and markets to develop high-conviction investment ideas. These ideas are presented through structured pitch processes and evaluated according to predefined analytical, risk and ESG criteria, mirroring professional investment decision-making.

Approved investment ideas are incorporated into the Fund’s actively managed portfolio, with a long-term, research-driven and non-speculative approach. The investment universe primarily consists of listed equities, complemented by selected derivative instruments used without leverage.

In addition to investment activities, CSF organises educational events aimed at deepening financial competence and career readiness. These include internal training sessions, technical workshops, case-based events and company-led sessions. Through collaboration with partners across the financial industry, members gain exposure to real-world practice, professional expectations and potential career paths

Culture & Values.

Casa Student Fund is founded on a culture of professionalism, responsibility, inclusion and continuous learning. The Fund is not only an investment platform, but a community where students develop analytical rigor, ethical judgement and collaborative skills essential for long-term success in finance.

Diversity, equity and inclusion are central to CSF’s mission. The Fund actively works to broaden participation in finance by encouraging applications from students of diverse backgrounds and experiences. CSF aims to lower informal barriers to entry while maintaining high standards of commitment and professionalism.

A strong culture of peer-to-peer learning underpins the organisation. Senior members support and mentor newer members, fostering an environment where ideas are challenged constructively and learning is collective. This culture of openness and accountability strengthens both the quality of investment decisions and the personal development of members.

CSF’s investment philosophy reflects these values. The Fund follows a long-term, research-driven strategy grounded in fundamental analysis and ESG principles. The objective is not short-term speculation, but sustainable, risk-aware exposure to high-quality companies with sound fundamentals, fair valuations and responsible business practices.
